Ce Porst Automatic 500 a une origine allemande. C'est un Braun. Le modèle le plus proche est le Mastermatic 330, mais celui est fait pour être utilisé avec des flashcubes alors que notre Porst Automatic 500 cache un déflecteur pour ampoule magnésique. On peut imaginer qu'une série spécifique pour Porst ait été fabriquée par Braun en modifiant un peu les caractéristiques du Mastermatic.
